Members who are knowledgeable about this destination and volunteer their time to answer travelers' questions. It looks like there is more to see that way and if we travelled there that way first I would feel like I needed to move on quickly to get to Yellowstone and not enjoy it so much. The Oregon side offers access to several waterfalls, but you can see the biggest one, Multnomah Falls, from the Washington side as well.
